How it all started

The year is 1992, Gino and Dieter Duytschaever, father and son, are both obsessed with 4x4's. It all started with a Suzuki LJ80 that they both used for participating in competition through out Belgium. It didn't take long before they started participating in some more serious competitions all over Europe. Most of those competitions were primarily winch trophies, challenges and trials.

Gino and Dieter always built their own offroaders but occasionally reached out to other competitors to custom build their offroaders. Gradually they built more and more vehicles for other people and D&G Tuning was founded.

2006 - a big setback

Unfortunately, father Gino died which caused a great shock in the 4x4 community. Dieter kept the company to honour his father although it wasn't easy to continue without his sparring partner.

The years that followed, Dieter specialised even more in engineering and developped multiple products. The workforce grew and the projects became more and more specialised high-end custom builds. Extensive testing by using them for what they are intended: extreme off-road use, is still one of the top priorities. CAD software, plasma cutting, bending, 3D scanning, tube bending... was introduced to stay up to date with the newest techniques to improve their 4x4's and products.

2023 - Focussed on the future

More than 30 years after the first seed, D&G Tuning is stronger than ever. With multiple full time specialists working alongside a number of freelancers, our multi-disciplined team can tackle almost every project. Electronics, mechanics, welding, machining, engine rebuilding, CAD, custom engineering and a new extensive parts store with webshop as a sister company, we are proud to say: if you can dream it, we can build it.
